Growing up Evel Knievel was a pretty big deal. Whenever he made his jumps my family would plan to gather around our black and white TV to watch. (Yep. I'm getting old). My buddies and I would make ramps and do our own version of his great jumps and sometimes as a result do our own version of his injuries.
Evel Knievel died today. I had heard a while back that he had recently become a follower of Jesus. Interesting that he went from putting his faith in himself and his bike; to putting his faith in Jesus. Like Evel, we do not lack faith. In fact our faith is always on display. However, what or who is that faith in?
Below are two videos. The first: his greatest human leap of faith. The second: his all-time greatest "jump".
Very cool testimony!!
