The truth is that I have been putting coats of polyurethane down on my daughters bathroom floor, so I may be feeling good from the fumes. However...
- Saturday - My "sports high" started last Saturday with the C.U. victory over Oklahoma. This was an unexpected and incredible win. I was excited and jumping around like a little kid. Wow! Carol Ann's take on me watching the game.
- Sunday - Rockies win! Padres lose! Bring on the Wild Card Playoff Monday! Also, Johnson and Gordon do well in the Kansas race. Stewart crashes, life is good! Broncos lose to the Colts, but that is no surprise.
- Monday - Reason number 7,612,541 that I have the best wife in the whole wide world! Carol Ann and I are away for few days of vacation. What kind of husband would I be to interrupt our getaway with baseball watching. It was kind of killing me inside, but I decided to forgo the game and delight in time with my wife. But my dear, wonderful, incredible, sweet goddess of a woman wife asks of her own volition, "what time is the game tonight?" I say, "5:37 PM". She says, "why don't you watch the game and I will watch a movie." I slightly pause for effect and the say OK!!!!!! I love you" and give her a big kiss! I watch one of the most thrilling games I have ever seen. Rockies win! Wife is Good! Life is Good!
- Tuesday - For some unexplained reason I had the urge to go shopping with Carol Ann and buy her a new outfit. Not sure where this uncommon urge came from... Hmmm.
- Wednesday - Rockies win! Avalanche win! Still on vacation and I watch the game from home with Chipotle and Ice Cream!
- Thursday - Rockies win! I watch the game with my daughter Robbin and she brings Chipotle for lunch. Bummin a bit because the Yankees
loseget killed, but still pretty high as I write this.
I'm liking this new trend that is developing - you watch the game(s) "guilt free" and then I go shopping "guilt free" --- ah, life is beautiful.
