I have spent time this week preparing my message for the weekend. Something that I began doing about 6 months ago, was listening to a playlist I created called Canvas.
Before I begin praying, studying and writing, I listen to the songs on my Canvas list. For me it has become an important part of my personal preparation. This list is to my message prep what my favorite pair of jeans are to walking out the door. (I hope that makes sense!) Anyway, here is the list:
Canvas Play List
- Pass me Not by Fernando Ortega
- Beautiful Day by U2
- Bring Me to Life by Evanescence
- I Have to Believe by Rita Springer
- Open my Eyes by By The Tree
- Dare You to Move by Switchfoot
- Whenever God Shines His Light by Van Morrison
- Father, Blessed Father by Newsboys
- O Worship the King by Chris Tomlin
- Beautiful One by By the Tree
- Give Me Jesus by Fernando Ortega
- Hallelujah by Newsboys
- Filled With Your Glory by Starfield
- Here is Our King by David Crowder Band
- Famous One by Chris Tomlin
- This is Your Life by Switchfoot
- Your Grace is Enough by Chris Tomlin
- Holding Out For Grace by Tait
- Come to Jesus by Mindy Smith
- O Praise Him (All This for a King) by David Crowder Band
Wow!! Those songs are so amazing, it's no wonder you get pumped and prepared for a great message! Number 20 on your list is one of my all-time favorites, I love that song!! That's one of those that you just can't play loud enough! Love you, buddy, and can't wait to hear your message for this weekend.
